Overall I would give the game a 7.5-8/10, the story is just ok but I didn't exepected much in the first place (the lore is pretty deep and interesting tho), gameplay is really fast and rewards a lot learning the enemies' patterns to parry their attacks and punish them quickly (in this aspect, I prefere it over mh). Since my monster hunter days I always played alone (first because I didn't have an internet connection, later out of habit) so this didn't affect me.

Most people figured out that they could do everything but a side mode offline and now if you want to play online, you'd better find a group on discord or something. If you want to make a lobby, other players can join only before you launch the online session, so finding randoms online is almost impossible. Online is pretty much dead everywhere not because of the playerbase, but simply because the lobby system sucks af.
